Will total Rs 20L Cr; Goes Voacl for Local.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the government would unveila a Rs 20 Lakh crore
package to help nurse the economy back to health and also unleash a new set of reforms focussed on land ,labour ,liquidity and legal frameworks that would power India's push for self -reliance.

Addressing the nation a day he held detailed deliberation with chief ministers and
days before Lock-down 3 ends, the Pm said the mega package woud be announced over the coming days by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman even as he  strongly identified the theme of "
atmanirbhar" Bharat that he said would'nt be aself-ab-sorbed vision but would rather make
the country a part of global supply chains.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address is one that gave the country a headline. The nation is disappointed by his "failure" to address the woes of millions of migrants.
The mammoth heartbreaking human tragedy of migrant workers walking back home needed compassion, care and safe return.
"Dear PM, What you said today gives the country and the media a HEADLINE," Surjewala said on Twitter.

Assocham secretary general Deepak Sood

With this announcement, we can say the estimations of 0-1% growth are now defeated and we're very clear that if all this money is pumped into the economy we should see 2-3% or 4% growth as we move along and as early as March of next year.
Assocham had reasoned with the Indian industry, the government and had made this request about a month-and-a-half back for a package of US$ 200-300 billion. We are delighted that we were able to foresee this and we're glad that it's in alignment with the Indian thinking
